A computer program Generator of Vinylogos 1.0. will premiere tomorrow in Propaganda. The program is the result of joint work of myself and Krzysztof Gajewski, who not only built the engine of the program, but also helped me sort out and simplify the structure of the Vinylogos. It will be so a premiere of the third generation of the Vinylogos language.
In a technical sense the task of the generator is to speed up, simplify and organize a process of random generating of Vinylogos. Until now, this was done by throwing the dice and checking results in the table. Now the program will create completely random (but always correct) sentences of Vinylogos. My role is limited to determininate the probability of alternative elements of a sentence, although this process can also be subjected to random events. New and fundamental change in the Vinylogos structure is reduction of two types of sentences describing the growth and accumulation into one. Now growth is interpreted as a special case of accumulation. Now, the same grammatical parsing can be used for all types of sentences.
Tomorrow’s performance will consist in starting the program, which will produce a portion of Vinylogos sentences. Information will be evoked from the void. On the other side of the process a colorful Vinyl is hidden, waiting to emerge from the pyramid of pseudorandom noise with a delay typical for physical affairs (its construction is likely to take several months).
Jutro w Propagandzie odbędzie się premiera programu komputerowego Generator Vinylogosu 1.0. Program jest wspólnym dziełem moim i Krzysztofa Gajewskiego, który nie tylko zbudował silnik, ale też pomógł mi uporządkować i uprościć strukturę samego Vinylogosu. Będzie to więc jednocześnie premiera trzeciej generacji języka Vinylogos.
W sensie technicznym zadaniem Generatora jest przyspieszyć, uprościć i uporządkować proces tworzenia losowo generowanego Vinylogosu. Do tej pory odbywało się to za pomocą ręcznych rzutów kostką i tabelki. Teraz program sam będzie tworzyć zupełnie przypadkowe (ale zawsze poprawne) zdania Vinylogosu. Moja rola zostaje ograniczona do określenia prawdopodobieństwa z jakim losowane będą poszczególne alternatywne elementy zdań, choć i ten proces może zostać podporzadkowany przypadkowi. Nową i zasadniczą zmianą w samym Vinylogosie jest likwidacja podziału na zdania opisujące przyrost i akumulację. Teraz przyrost jest po prostu rozumiany jako jeden z rodzajów akumulacji. Do wszystkich rodzajów zdań można zastosować ten sam rozbiór gramatyczny.
Jutrzejszy performance będzie polegać na uruchomieniu programu, który wyda z siebie porcję zdań Vinylogosu. Z pustki wyewokowana zostanie informacja. Na drugim końcu procesu kryje się kolorowy Vinylowiec, który wyłoni się z tej piramidy pseudolosowego szumu z opóźnieniem właściwym sprawom materii (jego budowa zajmie prawdopodobnie kilka miesięcy).
